How to write an article when you have no ideas?

The answer is very simple. Don’t write articles when you have no ideas. First, get the ideas, write them down on a paper on in a computer file, THEN start writing articles.

Writing an article without having the idea first is like making a soup without having the ingredients. You don’t put water to boil, then go to the market and buy the vegetables, don’t you?
You gather all vegetables, then boil the water, then add the vegetables in the boiled water.

So, the actual question is “Where do you get ideas?”.

The answer to this question is even simpler. Ideas are floating around you. You just have to grab them, and write them down.
Source of ideas:

1. Random thoughts
Several times a day, everybody has random thoughts. Write them down. Chances are that 1 out of 10 will be a great idea for an article.

2. Products you own

Let’s say you watch TV and see a commercial about a product. Do you own that product? If yes, what did you like it about? What you hate about it? Is there an affiliate program about that product?
You can easily write an article about that product.

3. News you heard
Did you know that …? Not everybody knows what you know. So, if you hear some news about a topic that interests you, make an article with your comments about the subject.

Just don’t forget to write down the ideas as soon as you get them. Within 24 hours, you’ll get enough ideas to get you started.

What’s the difference between blogs, forums, and article directories?

On a forum, everybody can start a topic. On a blog, only the owner of the blog can start a new topic. On an article directory, the article writer starts the topic.

On a forum, people ask questions hoping that someone will have the right answers for them. On blogs and article directories, the writers have the answers, hoping someone will ask the right questions.

An article directory is actually a moderated blog, with a lot of writers. Is moderated, because the owner of the article directory decides, in the end, which articles will be published.

Don’t try to be perfect!

When you try to be perfect, you waste a lot of time working on some minor details almost nobody notices.

What is really important when you write an article is to create a vivid image in your reader’s mind about what you are trying to say. Let’s say a man, in an Armani suit comes to tell you that he wrecked your car by accident. Later, a man dressed like a beggar tells you that he heard on the news that you won the lottery. Which of those two will give you more pleasure? The news is more important than the courier. The message of the article is more important than the way is written and the Grammar.

Of course, you should always try to comb your articles in order to make them look nice. FireFox has a spell checker integrated. When you post your article, FireFox will spot some of your obvious Grammar mistakes. Correct those, then let the article sit on your site!

The benefits of owning an article directory

There are a lot of benefits of owning an article directory.

1. You can get all the money or, at least, the big cut.
2. You decide what to write about.
3. You decide how long (or short) an article can be.
4. You get approved instantly and ALWAYS.
5. You can put your affiliate links inside your articles.
6. You can add pictures, audio or video to your articles.
7. You can edit your article very fast, any time you want.

How to own an article directory

Articles are an easy way to attract traffic to your site. The basic idea is to write an article and to submit it to an article directory.

The main purpose of an article directory is to make money, based on your work. Your reward can be a tiny share of that money, traffic, or both.

How about having an article directory, all for yourself?

Step 1. Buy a domain name.
A domain name with the word “articles” in it is a start. If you have a company, or if you want to use your name, you can add it in front of the articles.
Example : LunLunArticles.com

Step 2. Get a hosting company.

Step 3. Download and install a CMS (content management system).
I use WordPress, which as 2008, is one of the best FREE CMSs on the market.

Step 4. Get the content.
Many people believe that Google hates duplicate content. See for yourself : grab a PLR article, and search Google for the first sentence from the article. If you see only one result, then yes, Google hates duplicate content. If you see more than 10 different sites, with exactly the same article then … you draw the conclusion. So, a good place to start is to find a site that will offer you some PLR articles.
Take one article at a time and make it look nice. That is, bold, italicize, reformat the paragraph if you need. Then post on your site 10 articles a day.

Step 4. Create original content
After your article directory has at least 100 articles, you can start to post articles written by you. If you don’t like to read article, read eBooks about how you can write article fast and easy, like you write a letter to a friend.

Step 5. Get original content from others
After you have at least 500 articles, start to accept content from other authors.

Step 6. Get traffic to your site
